Thank you for your interest in Columbus Cake Celebrations! This group was initially created in May 2022 by a Columbus, Ohio resident, Emily Wagner (Shaw), in hopes that she could help make birthday celebrations extra special for kids in need by providing them with birthday cakes. The idea developed from a cake Emily purchased months before for a young boy’s birthday, after his mother had asked for help in a local Facebook group. The group provides, on average, 100 birthday cakes per month to Columbus area kids!
Those who wish to volunteer can check out our “Volunteer” tab for information on how to get started. We have a range of baking skill levels in the group, and that whatever you are able to do is so appreciated. In addition to baked cakes, store bought cakes are also great!

If you would like to request a cake, please go to our “How to Request a Cake” page. Once your request is submitted, we will review it and match you to a volunteer in your area.
