We provide cakes for kids up to and including age 18. We only provide cakes for this age group, and only for birthdays–we want to be sure to focus on our mission!

Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding suburbs. The ability to fulfill requests depends on the availability of volunteers able to deliver to your zip code. If you are unsure whether you fall into our delivery radius, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.

Anyone who resides in or around Columbus, Ohio. If you are not the legal guardian of the recipient, please be sure to secure permission.

No. There should be absolutely no financial transactions or information shared between volunteers and recipients. Columbus Cake Celebrations will never ask for financial information from requestors.

There are various questions on the request form that you can answer to indicate your ideal cake. Your matched volunteer will do their best to make it happen, but we don’t guarantee the exact cake you request. We have volunteers with many different levels of baking skills, and you can discuss specifics when your volunteer reaches out to confirm your request! More flexible and/or simple requests can garner more volunteers, and thus are often confirmed more quickly. Volunteers can choose to bake at home or buy a cake at their discretion.

We have a small amount of bakers who can provide cross-contamination free cakes for severe allergies, but it will depend on the availability of the volunteer.

You will see a confirmation screen once your request is successfully submitted and receive an email from Jotform with a copy of your responses–this means it’s in! Please read the information on the web confirmation screen, as it contains what to expect next.
Know that the next contact you will receive will be directly from the volunteer once they are matched to your request. If you submit a request significantly in advance, you may not hear until closer to your celebration date, which is when the match will be made. We will give you at least 48 hours notice prior to your celebration if a volunteer can’t be found so you can make other arrangements. If you’re unsure of the status of your request, you can also email columbuscakecelebrations@gmail.com to check in!
